Seattle to Sturgis

THE SOLUTION: While taking guys on a motorcycle ride doesn’t seem very hard, true excellence in these trips can be. It requires the right route, the right mix of people, and the right finishing touches to create an experience that creates lasting memories.

For this ride, we host six-time Crossfit champion Mat Fraser, skateboarding legend Chris Cole, musician and producer Butch Walker, custom car fabricator Del Uschenko, and freestyle motocross legend Carey Hart and his sidekick and musician Big B for a ride from Seattle to Sturgis, ending at the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally.

We spent 6 days crossing the northern border of America, stopping in Idaho for a lake day to wakesurf and again in Yellowstone to ride side by sides as we made our way across the country. Long days of windy roads, stopping to admire the landscape at pretty lookouts, meals in small diners, and late nights playing cards in tiny-town motels created memories and bonds that have lasted for years since. And the earned media value for the guys’ posts throughout the trip was more than double what the trip would have cost if we’d paid the guys partnership rates (luckily, it only cost 20% of that to host them on the trip).
